Tomorrow 25 April is Anzac Day in NZ, a public holiday.
Anzac Day was originally devised to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who served in the Gallipoli campaign, their first engagement in the First World War (1914–1918).

Certainly! Here’s an acrostic poem for “Anzac Day”:
Amidst the echoes of battles long past, Names etched in memory, forever to last, Zealous hearts, courage unyielding and true, All who served, we honor and value.
Comrades in arms, their sacrifice profound, Defenders of freedom, on hallowed ground, An enduring legacy, their valor displayed, Yearning for peace, in the poppies’ shade. 🌺
Remembering those who gave so much on this solemn day. 🕊️
