Attempt 3: Has WordPress deliberating corrupted the Classic (Editor) Block to force users to use other blocks?

I have always loved the WordPress Classic Editor and since Gutenberg was introduced (and all the different Blocks) have always used the Classic block (see bottom middle of the image below):

Now the Classic (Editor) Block has become so corrupted it is very frustrating and time consuming to use. Some issues may be an issue with WordPress itself.

Is this a deliberate attempt by WordPress to force users to use all the other blocks?

I am using the Dyad2 theme with the Edge browser.

Below are some of the issues I have encountered:

1. There is no longer an option to make a post Sticky. I like all my new posts to appear at the top and since I have many sticky posts already, all my new posts need to be “sticky” to appear at the top.
2. When you add in a link (URL), previous paragraphs can disappear. This is my second attempt to type in the whole of this post because all my original post disappeared when I added in a URL.
3. There is no separate option for adding in a document when you add media (using the camera icon).
4. When typing a post, when you press the Enter key, quite often WordPress jumps out of the Classic block and asks to add a new block. Before typing this post I first pressed the Enter key a number of times to avoid this happening.
