England (a poem but not about football)

This place sounds like perfection 🙂

Blue Sky Days 365

England, a green and pleasant land

With fens and fells

Hills and dales

Rivers and streams

And copses so green

Meres and lakes

And brooks and becks

Valleys and tors

Hedgerows and more

Bluebells hide in woodland’s shade

And lead us to a grassy glade

See flower meadows and golden sand

In England’s truly beautiful land

A green and pleasant heavenly place

Set on earth for us to embrace
